Christ’s Church Young Adults - AKA Adultish

This Wednesday, the young adults of Christ’s Church are invited to a hang out at Landreth Park in Joplin! The plan is to play volleyball, eat hot dogs, and grow in fellowship with God and His people. Invite a friend! Contact Landen Summers with any questions - 816-529-5832.

Welcome Lunch

Let's get connected! If you’ve recently started attending Christ’s Church and would like to learn more about the church, connect with leaders and learn how you can get more involved, we’d love to see you at a welcome lunch on November 2nd. This meal will be directly after service, in the multi-purpose room. We’d love to feed you lunch, get to know you, and answer any questions you might have.

Christ’s Church Youth Group

This Sunday, October 5th from 6-8 PM there will be a Youth Small-Group Gathering! Kids 6th-12th grade are invited to come learn from God’s word, worship together, and spend time fellowshipping at the church building! If you have any questions, contact Landen Summers at 816-529-5832.

Fall Family Bonfire

We want kids at Christ’s Church to have opportunities to build relationships and enjoy good fellowship with one another. Along those lines, we’re inviting Christ’s Kids and their families to a Fall Bonfire on Friday, October 17, from 6-8 PM at Molly and Garrett Greer’s house. The church will provide hot dogs, chips, beverages, and s’mores. Please RSVP to Lissa Thomas (417-529-8400) by Wednesday, October 8th, to receive directions to the Greers’ house AND so that we can plan food accordingly! We will cancel this event, if the weather keeps us from being outside!

Evenings at Christ’s Church

Christ’s Church is growing! Starting November 9th we will launching an additional meeting on Sunday evenings. Over the next few weeks we will be chatting more about the “why” behind this decision! These evening meetings will hold all the same elements as our morning meetings, but with a more casual, interactive atmosphere. We’re excited to be able to welcome more and more people into the good that God is doing at CCOJ.
